Heat Treatment Chamber Furnace features a larger floor-standing, heavy duty, cubical chamber furnace model. Sufficient for numerous heat treatment applications such as hardening or tempering, annealing, stress relieving on metal parts. XGM provides a variety of heat treatment chamber furnaces with working temperature ranges from 700°C to 1700°C and capacities ranging from 96 to 1000 litres.

Safety

• Built-in ammeter and dual voltmeters for easy monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Overheat protection shuts down the chamber furnace if temperature is outside of acceptable range (refer to controller’s manual) or when the thermocouple is broken or malfunctions
• Power failure protection resumes furnace operation right after the point of failure when power is reestablished
• Microprocessor based self-tuning PID control provides optimum thermal process with minimal overshoot

Application Notes

• However, toxic or explosive gasses are not recommended for use with the furnace chamber without necessary safety controls and supervision during the heat treatment.
• Small cracks may appear on the surface of the refractory ceramics over extended use. This is a normal occurrence and the cracks may be repaired with alumina coating
